In
some cases the announcement you like the best contains a picture
of your newborn. Here are some tips regarding the photo you need
to send to us.
Digital Photos
• When taking the photo, try to take it so
the subject fills out as much of the picture as possible. If you
want a close up of the baby’s face, make sure you take a picture
with only head and shoulder. Allow a little room for cropping. There
will be a loss of sharpness if we try to enlarge only the face of
a picture taken of a full-body.
• Email as an attachment to announcements@parallaxviscom.com.
Take the photograph with a camera of at least 3 megapixels
at the highest resolution and finest quality setting. Save and send
in jpeg format. The file size should be 600K or more.
• When emailing your photos, be sure to include your name,
address and phone number in the email.

• If you like you may send more than one photograph. In this
case we will choose the photo which fits the best and/or has the
best quality.
• All photographs will be returned to you by mail after the
project is finished.
• If you have a picture taken by a professional photographer,
you must send a letter of permission from the photographer permitting
us to reproduce the photo. Many professionally taken photographs
are generally covered under standard copyright guideline, but most
photographers will allow reproduction if it is for a product that
they do not offer.
• We do not accept Polaroid photos.
• If you like you can send a color photo. We will translate
this color photo into black and white to match the intended design
of the card.
